KIIT-TBI: Fostering Innovation, Nurturing Startups

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology’s (KIIT’s) TBI is recognised by the Department of Science and Technology and has been instrumental in propelling the startup culture in India. Till date, it has enabled over 430 startups to transform their innovative ideas into viable business propositions.

The incubator has generated funds for over 350+ startups, which currently have a cumulative valuation of over INR14K Cr. The MSH has supported KIIT-TBI through its various programmes like TIDE and SAMRIDH. KIIT-TBI is recognised as Centre of Excellence in Incubation by DST.

The event in Odisha’s capital will provide an opportunity to startup founders to indulge in meaningful interactions and bag investments for their startups.

It is pertinent to note that Odisha is looking to foster over 5,000 startups by 2025, and this event is expected to help in achieving this goal. Odisha also emerged as a ‘top performer’ among the states with a population of over 1 Cr in the ‘States’ Startup Ranking 2022’, released by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT).
