Indian Angel Network Appoints Sarika Saxena As Managing Partner Of Its IAN Alpha Fund
Indian Angel Network (IAN) has appointed Sarika Saxena as the managing partner of its venture capital fund IAN Alpha Fund.
Saxena is a finance professional with an experience of over 25 years. Prior to this, she worked as the general manager of strategic investments (private equity) at HT Media. Her investment portfolio includes companies from various sectors, including consumer, technology, fintech, and edtech, in the domestic and international markets.
Earlier, she also worked with VBHC, National Commodities Management Services Ltd, among others.
Commenting on Saxena’s appointment, IAN cofounder Raman Roy, said, “We are thrilled to welcome Sarika Saxena as the new Managing Partner of IAN Alpha Fund. As per the statement, Saxena has facilitated early stage investments totalling $100 Mn and has overseen an AUM of around $300 Mn.

Launched in 2022 with a corpus of INR 1,000 Cr, IAN Alpha Fund is the second fund in the IAN’s series of funds. Earlier this year, it invested an undisclosed amount in B2Badda, a B2B marketplace for industrial goods and services.
Overall, IAN has over 200 startups in its portfolio, including Spinny, Wow! Momo, and Zypp Mobility. It is one of the most active angel networks in the Indian startup ecosystem.
